* Do your name puzzle. When you're done, mix up your letters and see if you can
say them out of order.
* Rainbow write the letter "R" in your composition notebook. Grown up: write an "R"
in black and have your child use red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple to trace
over it.
* Read the book "Heavy or Light?" on Epic (it's in your mailbox or you can search). Find one HEAVY and one light item at your house.
Extension Activities
Watch THIS demonstration. Plant your sunflower seed
and see if you can get it
grow without any soil.
Observe it every day and
see if anything happens.
Take a picture and put it
on Seesaw.

* Use your scissors to cut up your grown up's junk mail (or anything else your grown up will let you cut)!
* Make letter "K" with play dough. Then see if you can make the letters of your name with play dough.
* Find some HEAVY and some light items at your house. Tell me which ones are
HEAVIER and which ones are lighter.
Extension Activities
Find a real flower in your yard or a pretend flower and see if you can name all the parts. Take a picture and send it to Mrs. Epp on Seesaw.

Tell me your FAVORITE to eat. If you have some at your house, have it for a snack or with a meal and take a picture to post on to Seesaw. Tell me you're eating your favorite plant!

* At mealtime or snack time today, see if you are eating any plants. If you are, think about what part of the plant you are eating. Is it a root, a stem, a leaf, a fruit, a flower, or a seed? Take a picture and put it on Seesaw to show me you eat plants! :)
* Read the book "Heavy, Heavier, Heaviest" on Epic (it's in your mailbox. Find 3
items at your house. Put them in order from HEAVIEST to lightest.
